14 selected artisans of jewellery and silversmithing.
Curated by designer jeweller Joanne Gowan ( who lives and works in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire. )

Artisans have been  chosen for high quality of designing and craftsmanship with a preference given to Northern makers. There will also be a 2026 New Graduates stand to support new makers.

ENTRANCE TO THE EVENT IS FREE 

EASY ACCESS For our less mobile visitors please be reassured that exhibition rooms are only 50 metres of level ground from the car park, a short ramp onto all one level inside Alban House,  with a lift to the second floor for our Talks.

 

As part of Acquire there will be 2 ticketed Talks each day about related subjects, curated by Susan Rumfitt ( BBCs Antique Roadshow jewellery specialist), from a number of eminent experts including Susan Rumfitt, Steven Moore, Sarah Leighton of JQV Gems and silversmith Brett Payne. . There will be a charge to attend talks. 

 

There is an excellent tea rooms serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, plenty of onsite parking and the Abbey Church to visit. There will be other events at the Abbey over that weekend including Heritage Open Day tours and Applepicking.   So there will be plenty to encourage visitors to make a day of it.

There is some accommodation B&B onsite and plenty in nearby villages and towns.

Thursday 17th September : Launch party with wine & cheese for invited guests 4pm to 7pm
